TBEX at Sea on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas

TBEX at Sea – Get ready to be Wowed!

Recently, we were lucky enough to board the Oasis of the Seas cruise ship to get a little preview of our home base during the first ever TBEX at Sea event October 31 through November 7. The representative from Royal Caribbean told us we were in for a great time and she was right. Our first word when stepping on board was WOW. We would repeat that word many times over during our 5-hour tour of the spectacular Oasis of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean’s Technological Advances

The technology on the Oasis of the Seas is pretty amazing, and well beyond what we have seen on other cruise ships.

Digital signage allows you to see exactly where you are on the ship, you can find the place you are heading and the digital map appears before your eyes.  No more getting lost on your way to the show!

High speed Wi-Fi is better than ever due to the use of O3b network and connected satellites.  These satellites can actually be moved to focus on a ship to ensure you have best and fastest connection.  No worry about missing out on some social media sharing on this ship.

By the Numbers:

Here are some interesting facts about the Oasis of the Seas:

  • Length: 1,187 feet (362 meters)
  • of Decks: 16 passenger decks
  • Guest Capacity: 6,360 guests (total)
  • of Crew: 2,394 crew (From over 71 countries)
  • Total Stateroom: 2,706

The Oasis of the Seas was listed as the largest cruise ship in 2009. It held the title until 2010 when their sister ship, Allure of the Seas, hit the water with an additional 2 inches, about 5 cm!

Let yourself be energized and ready to soak up the sun and fun. Enjoy a week aboard the Oasis of the Seas with TBEX at Sea!
