Interesting Bathroom in Beijing

We had met a local Beijing student who asked if he could practice his English with us.  Happily obliging, we ended up spending about an hour and a half walking around some interesting parts of Beijing as he became our tour guide.  All in return for letting him talk English – he was mostly interested in the way we use slangs and American idioms.  Then he asked us if we wanted to see the most interesting bathroom in Beijing  – how can you resist an opportunity like that?  Here is the result!  This is a set of sinks that are actually shared by both men and women, although at first glance one would think that this is the men’s room!

Our lesson – take advantage of the opportunities to live and act like a local.  It is the best way to really get to know the area you are visiting.  Enjoy!
