20 Photos That Will Make You Want To Visit Cuba Now!
Cuba is a hot destination to visit right now. And with good reason. Now there’s NO LIMIT on how many (hitherto forbidden to Americans) Cuban cigars or bottles of Cuban rum you can bring back to the United States – as long as it’s for personal consumption. Great news! That’s just one reason to Visit Cuba NOW if you can.
Cuba is also worth a visit right now because it’s just before (hopefully) the American tourism gates open wide and Havana begins to look like another Miami. Not that there’s anything wrong with Miami, but people want to visit Cuba now because we want to see it before a Starbucks or McDonalds occupies every corner of Old Havana. We want to experience Cuba in it’s American tourism infancy where the sights, sounds and smell are still new and incredibly fascinating to us.
The Beauty of Cuba
Cuba is beautiful in the way you see an old friend after many years apart – at first glance, you might notice the imperfections of age and the toll time has taken; but within minutes that disappears and all you see is her elegance, resilience, and grace. Her crumbling facades are being replaced at a rapid pace, but it’s the hollow shells beside the ornate decorations that give Cuba such unique character.
If these photos change your wanderlust to “Cuba”-lust, then we’ve done our job well. Cuba is a place to be experienced with all of the senses. Her people are one of her most valuable resources and their openness and kindness are what make this island so special. If we can give just one piece of advice it’s – Visit Cuba Now!
