Photo of the Day – Sacre Coeur at Night

One of the most visible and beautiful landmarks in Paris, Sacre Coeur Basilica towers over the city from it’s perch on Monmartre Hill.  During the day you can climb the 402 stairs to take in all the majesty the building offers – perhaps taking a stop on the lawn on the way up to enjoy a lunch of baguette and brie.  At night it becomes even more magical as locals and visitors like join together around the steps and enjoy the music and wares of vendors that gather in the evening.  If that does not overwhelm you senses, just take a look down and see the lights of Paris from this amazing view point!
