A waterfront taverna on the tiny island Paxos, Greece and the most delicious Moussaka…EVER! This Greek version was made with three layers: a bottom layer of sautéed potato slices; a middle layer of cooked ground meat with onion, garlic, chopped tomatoes, herbs and spices (cinnamon and allspice); and a top layer of bechamel sauce. Of course, adding a frosty Mythos beer to the meal just made it all the better!
Gotta love authentic Greek food…YUM!
